The photographic image is often perceived as a kind of window. A look through this window seemingly shows a specific situation, place and time as it is given in this one and only moment. Photography has always been attributed to a certain claim to reality. Over time, however, it has become apparent that this claim is no longer tenable. Nevertheless, most photographs still adopt this claim. In my opinion, this is where the medium enfolds its great potential and mystery. Each person constructs his own world. This individual world is based on their own experiences, which are more or less permanently reliable. In this sense, it is not possible to say that any construction of reality from a person is right or wrong. As a result, photographs are always the product of a subjective point of view, which can't be assigned to universal reality.
